One of our favorite photos is doing a 360 panorama from the sky. You can get a point of interest and the complete surroundings all in the same photograph. Then when you upload to a compatible program you can rotate the screen completely get the surroundings. We can do that at close to ground level or high in the sky. Here is an example of what it looks like when you add the above image to facebook or a program that supports 360 panoramas.
